Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has learned the following details ahead of tonight’s NXT.
- Alex Hammerstone was listed on early rundowns for tonight’s show, and as Sean Ross Sapp reported earlier today, is backstage at the show.
- Trick Williams vs Pete Dunne is set to close tonight’s show.
- Earlier today, FrAxiom vs The Street Profits was listed for only one segment.
- We haven’t heard why The Rascalz were removed from tonight’s show, but Wes Lee is backstage at tonight’s tapings.
- For those wondering about Giulia’s match with Chelsea Green, it is listed to take place after FrAxiom vs The Street Profits, which is set to open the show.
- Other than Hammerstone, we are told there is at least one other surprise that WWE have been going to stronger lengths to keep under wraps. Hammerstone was openly rehearsing with theme music and more earlier today.
- More main roster stars are expected to be involved with the NXT shows in Chicago and St. Louis respectively.
- Reps from The CW were outside the WWE Performance Center prior to the show, interviewing fans.
