Added 2017-10-22 11:44:39 +0000 UTCI'm actually surprised Jason won the last poll and Pennywise did not. I kind of thought Pennywise was the hot monster right now. That said, I was a little frustrated with the new IT movie, since I really liked the book, and I don't like the way they changed Mike's and Ben's roles. Mike had a really interesting backstory and relationship to the town, and giving that to Ben makes NO sense to me. I'm fine with them 'updating' the time period to the 1988 rather than have it take place in the 1950s, so it'll resonate with today's audience. That kind of change makes sense to me. Batman doesn't always take place in the 1930s.
Just FYI, since these posts are a good way for me to voice my thoughts, I'm REALLY confused about the new Patreon Terms of Service. One new rule is that you can't reward your patrons with pornographic material or sexual services, but so far it seems like that's just a way to shut down cam-girls since they are something of a plague. A lot of hentai artists aren't changing anything, because their rewards only specify 'drawings' and stuff without actual live content. That said, a couple artists I know are completely removing all of their stuff from Patreon, and using it only as a means to collect cash, and they're moving all their contetnt to Discord.
WTH is DISCORD! Is it like Skype? I've never used it. What the fuck is this new shit?

2017-10-22 18:11:26 +0000 UTCDiscord has a direct fileshare, but they claim rights to re-use files shared that way, most people use links tonimages instead. They also have weird self-contradictory rules on NSFW, but at least a Discord ban doesn't leave you broke.

2017-10-22 13:19:46 +0000 UTCIt doesn't share screens or anything like that. It's free an easy to use though. Whenever you sign up it gives you a free server. On that server you can create either 'text' or 'voice' channels. Voice channels are obviously where people can hang out to talk. Text channels can be just about anything text based. You can also create "levels" of access permission on your server that can be used as a way of identifying levels of patronage. Patrons can link their patreon account to your discord server to do this. That way, you can have channels with patron level specific content and only patrons with that level can view it. I would talk to Sunsetrider7 or Lewdlab who have set their discord up that way. Sunset has patron only channels and channels for downloads that only patrons can see.

2017-10-22 11:53:08 +0000 UTCDiscord is the new calling/message service like Skype and teamspeak mixed together but way better with frequent updates and good dev team. I have it and most use it for gaming with private servers and voice channels and the interface is so easy
