Scrapped Mark Comic

I started this comic for two reasons. One, I wanted to see what a full comic page would look like in my colored-sketch style. Two, I wanted to make a joke about the n-word controversy that was going on with Pewdiepie (he got salty and sid 'nigger').

The joke with this Mark comic is that Mark is aiding a sexy Black sangoma (which is like a priestess/druidess) fight and evil Cthulhu-esque monster. The key to defeating him is by screaming a magic word. The word is "NIGGER!" and Mark refuses to say it, thus dooming the world.

I don't know if the joke is actually funny or not. It probably isn't. In any case, I'll probably never finish this one because I have comic-page commissions to work on and I've moved on to other things.

Thanks. Maybe I will finish it. Not soon. But maybe

This is absolutely great

Well that would have been funny... sigh people really need to see the fun in use of offensive words if it really is meant for a joke or in good nature. But again it would have been fun to see it

Go ahead and say it Mark some of these chicks low key get off on race play 👌

He doesn't want to say it because he's afraid of that spear getting planted up his ass

Is Funny, its a nice take on a similar situation in Army of darkness, when Ash not remember the last word to seal the Necronomicon, also that Sangoma is really sexy. The N-word issues is in more sites, there is a movement in Overwatch to ban on sight, but some complain as is really a localized issue (is an offensive word in USA, and in some languages it not even exist), but finish it only if you feel like it ^^

For me it is actually funny, I'm sorry if someone offended by my remark. Probably different cultural context affects our sense of humor. Or it's just me.

Hahaha (awkward laughter). What Ladybug comic are you talking about? Hahaha (more awkward laughter . . . I'm sorry to say this but I get really frustrated sketching the fourth page and I began to regret the amount of time I sunk into it, which made me dread the time it would take to finish it. I'm a big believer in cutting one's loses and ditching a project rather than commit to something. "Sunken costs fallacy," some call it. I was a fool to ever start a comic of that scope, and I regret it. The worst part is, I'm trying to do the same thing with a Briar comic right now, but I'm being really careful to treat each page as a potential ending to the story, since it's just about how Briar and Batrick met, but it has the potential to go on for a few pages with Briar explaining why she left the Purple Haze Coven, and how she is constantly being stalked by her ex-girlfriends.

I'll probably regret asking, but how goes that miraculous ladybugs comic you started months ago? Im under the impression that has been scrapped or shelved, but feel free to tell me I'm wrong.

I'm most sad about wasting that awesome penis monster, but I'll recycle him somewhere else.

Shame as this sounded funny
