Daily Sketch: Mark the Pirate

Mark is a barbarian who gets kicked out of his clan for being just a little too barbaric. He goes adventuring. He kidnaps Princess Cadence after having a falling out with her mother, Empress Tamora. Tamora wants to capture Cadence back. Cadence decide she likes being kidnapped. Adventures ensue. Briar is a witch-bitch ex-girlfriend of Mark's.
Now, if Mark were a pirate, I think the story would be this. Mark is a pirate without a crew or ship. He has a sea-witch partner named Briar who kind of hates his guts but is stuck with him by habit. They capture a mermaid princess named Cadence, who has a treasure map tattooed on her back that leads to the treasure trove of Manannán Mac Lir, God of the Oceans. Her mother, Sea-Queen Tamora wants the treasure, so she tried to steal Cadence back. Adventures ensue.

I'd would add Tamora intends to sacrifice Cadence to a demonic cthulu creature for power after she gets the treasure, bu otherwise this is a nice look. Im actually surprised that Key wasn't added in as a cabin boy or something.

2017-06-16 22:53:17 +0000 UTCLove the resetting, not sure if he needs to be shipless, after all he may have his own party of hooligan pirates that respect his strength, the change and adaptation works fine, but you not need to make him a grumphy loner, leaders not have to be only about charisma, tough strength worshippers work as well
