NXT Interested In Using Main Roster Name

On the May 21st edition of NXT, Ava was seen on the phone, confirming that Roxanne Perez’s opponent for NXT Battleground will be revealed on the May 28th episode of the show.

While we have not been able to confirm with certainty who will be facing Perez at Battleground, one main roster name who has been requested by NXT officials recently is Tegan Nox, with requests for Nox to be used in NXT dating back to prior to the WWE Draft. In speaking with NXT and WWE sources, Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan learned that there are had been no immediate creative plans for Nox on the main roster, and is expected to have a run in NXT soon by talent and other sources within the brand.

One former NXT talent we spoke to noted that Tegan seemed to have ‘unfinished business’ with the brand, even following her appearance in October of last year.

Nox has not competed in WWE since an April 20th house show in Belfast
