Megan Bayne-AEW update

Bayne has been under AEW contract for years, as she was sidelined with an injury for quite some time, but put under an AEW deal. At the urging of AEW management, she sought out additional bookings after returning, and became a standout in Stardom. We’re told that at long last, she could be headed to AEW. We’re told there was interest from other companies in her possibly joining
Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has learned that creative pitches have been made for Bayne, for a possible re-debut in All Elite Wrestling. Early indications were that she would be in a heel role. Bayne last appeared in AEW in June 2023 in a dark match.
The 25-year old has been back in the United States for several months and working independent dates for GCW, Limitless and others.
UPDATE: In an update, sources close to Megan Bayne say that there has been interest elsewhere, and sources in AEW say that while there have been pitches for her usage on TV, her future there isn't clear as of yet. We're working to get more information

The idea with putting her with Mercedes, for example (not saying that's the route they go) is to build her with the crowd as well. They really will have to re-introduce her to the wider American audience. So being paired with someone else could be good to give her that kind of a rub.

If they use her in that, they will be wasting her unless they plan on pushing her right away to the top of the card along side MM. This is not a Wardlow situation, and nothing against him,but she is already a very good wrestler, right in the Kris Stat way, only ahead of her at the same age.
