I prefer to think of it as a restyling than a reboot. The characters aren't going to start over. Mark is just shorter, Cadence is going to be the most request reoccurring character, but not be a driving point of the plot, and Key and Briar are going to appear very rarely. I'd rather develop Mark then go wide.

Of the 4 or 5 ideas of one-shot Mark comics I have that I really want to hit this month, Cadence appears in one.

No, that all stands, I'm just not going to spend too much time on the meta-plot of Mark and Cadence always being one step ahead of her mother Tamora and the demon-god Mroc. No ret-conning of the plot, I'm just going to avoid making comics that refer to it. The only thing I'm actually ret-conning is Mark's height. He was taller before now.

Thanks! I remember asking myself the Office Space question of "if you had all the money in the world, what would you do?" and my answer was sit around and draw silly comics, so getting to do that more is worth a couple months' pay cut.

His mouth seems a little small for his face and his hip join seems a little off, but otherwise I like the look!

I fully understand striving for simplicity. This just means that the rest of the cast, if you so deem, could have their own one off adventures. This'll be fun. Plus it doesn't hurt that I've always had a weakness for fantasy. After buying the completed Conan stories by Robert E. Howard, it makes me eager for some barbarian fun-times. Barbarian fun times = sex, ale, plunder, and lots of fighting! <3

I like the new direction, hehehe. I also understand the need to cut back on recurring characters and instead focus on the hilariously sexy miasdventures of our newly shortened half-dwarf barbarian! Gonna be a little sad seeing less of Mark's friends, like Key and Briar around, but a reboot of this nature sounds fun, and some of them might show up (as less recurring) but no less wonderful roles. Might be fun to see Mark and Briar as sexy enemies instead of friends with a TON of benefits.

I'm a big fan of the new direction you've been taking the last couple months or so. There's a big difference between doing something you love to do, having fun with it, and making money from the result, and hard-slogging work that you do because you feel like you have to. Easier/Funner for you means more great pictures for all of us, so I'd just like to be clear how very much in favor of that I am.

So what's the plan here again? Is Mark getting a complete reboot away from where he "kidnapped" Cadence? Is she remaining a cleric or is she going to move on to sexy badass paladin? I'm not sure I know which of these posts about Mark in the past two weeks is now the new direction.

Good Idea's with Mark, but I hope Candace has multiple outfits. She seemed like somebody Mark had just picked up, so she would have her own "innocent," but "constantly getting raped" clothing style.I like the one she's wearing now, the other one's were just more saccharine, so it was a "corruption of the innocent" thing. He was generally the "dominant" and everyone else (including her) was the submissive. I hope you stick with that. She doesn't have to be stupid, just constantly being taken advantage of...and I hope you continue to do creative comics like "Mark's moral dilemma" one, with the neutral fairy. Not continuing that one specifically, but that creative thought process, and a humorous outcome. A little hardcore, but creatively funny!

Re-imagining the Mark universe sounds great. Conan is the best. Sad to hear Cadence won't be getting alot of attention, though.

This sounds a lot like a reboot. Which is good and all if you want a clean slate. The only hard part is keeping that slate basic and simple.

Yeah, Cadence will still be there whenever a need a serious foil to counterbalance Mark, or when I need some sort of viewpoint other than Mark's for a comic.

Works fine, when i read the mail I feared the worst but he looks pretty similar, i think that if you not want a hard storyline you not need to take out Cadence, if she make sense to the comic draw her, if not she was somewhere else, what i mean is that even if she is not visually in the comic that not mean she is not close by fucking some nice knight errants. Just keep it basic. ^^
