Tower Girls WIP
Added 2016-11-29 19:30:22 +0000 UTCCurrently working through my current stack of comic-page commissions (msotly princes, but there's an archduke in there). I'm trying to keep myself ingaged by sqitching up how I make them. I've normally been doing that graident coloring thing, but for the last few pics I went with classic coloring, and for this I went with layering, something I haven't done for a while. I enjoy layering, it's just that I don't feel like I have much control over the final product, and the colors always come out super unbalanced and saturated.
Does this comic needs captions, or can I leave it blank? I kind want to leave it blank because I think the story is obvious. If it had captions it would be the Knight Princess saying to Ace "Thanks for taking some time off from your heroics to come to the beach today. How about a swim, and maybe later we can--." When the kracken grabs her she yells "FUCK!" In the fourth panel the Mermiad Princess says "Human! Help me slay this beast, and I will reward you with my trident and my love." In the last panel Ace says "You were right, Kinsley, it is nice to take a break once in a while."
Like I said though, I might prefer it without text.

sometimes a comic with no words can tell a better story, i say give it a shot with this one but i do think a panel could have been added to see the kraken getting wrecked.
