Details On Another WWE Call-Up Of Sorts
Added 2024-05-06 19:00:03 +0000 UTCFightful Select reported that Mike Rome is imminently set to begin announcing for NXT, a role he held between 2016 and 2019.
This left a lot of questions for fans on what would come of Alicia Taylor, who has served as NXT’s ring announcer for the past few years, and has also filled on some main roster shows when needed. Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has learned that Taylor is set for her own callup to the main roster post Backlash, with Rome going the other way. Taylor will be on Smackdown.
As of this writing, there hasn’t been an indication of which main roster brands Alicia and Samantha Irvin will ring announce for. Taylor has been ring announcing for NXT since 2019.
