Mark meets Nell 1

I was really worried that I was going to get some crappy results like the last couple times I've tried this technique, but this came along so much better than I was expecting. The colors actually look like the colors I imagined, and I don't think I've ever drawn mark better. It's not perfect. I could have taken more time cleaning up the lines, or have made the angles a bit more dynamic, but for what it is I feel very vindicated. I have a lot of ups and downs with that last five works I think. but I'm feeling on the upswing. This method did take me a good while though. Two days of work really; one of the lineart and one for the coloring, but I felt very in control the whole time, and I think the effects will be easy to duplicate.
I've got one more page for the client after this, but I'm going to add a third page just for myself to really round out the story, making this a three page Project. I might wait a little bit before posting to HF so I can have one page a night, but maybe I'll let this slip a little early and gauge people's reactions if I get any.

sorry for the laate post /response been busy so ill make it quick " Mark the new art style is killer " very good job on it and maybe after the Dark Brotherhood you should do a Mark the Barbarian comic?

It's like my brain is making connections it never made before. I'm not even scared of backgrounds anymore because I can just see it in the canvas. I really think next month is going to be amazing.
