Skype for Dukes and Up!
Added 2015-06-16 23:47:41 +0000 UTCAlright. I've finally figured at a thing to truly justify getting the Duke slot. Skyping! Specifically the window sharing aspect of Skyping. Here's what I'm offering: my skype Id is markydaysaid@gmail.com, or markydaysaid, or Mark Day, I'm not actually sure how that works. Add me as a contact, and when my Skype is open, chances are it's because I'm working on something. You can message me, and I'll share my window with you, so you can see me working on whatever it is I'm working on. I won't always be able to chat, but I can imagine doing that to.
When you actually message me, I will check to make sure you are a current Duke or greater, who has successfully pledged $20 at least once.
I'm posting this for everyone to see to advertise it, and also just in case anyone has advice about Skyping. I've only done it with one person so far, but it was fun.

I know I don't need to do voice to share a window. I've done that. You're probably right about slowing my computer down though. I may need to researched streaming software. I've never done it out of skype

2015-06-17 22:32:24 +0000 UTCI agree that it would be cool to sometimes see you making your art, even if i often like to just see the finished product. But i wonder if it would be practical to do it on skype, i suppose you could make a conference if there are multiple people interested at the same time, but you would need a decent internet connection with good upload speed. I also think that you need to be in voice chat to be able to do a screen sharing, but i could be wrong. I actually played a bit with screen sharing on skype with a friend so i do know a few things (not an expert on the subject tho)

2015-06-17 06:57:38 +0000 UTCDude, this would give me a reason to actually use this Skype program that has been sitting on this computer unused for several years now. It all comes full circle in the end. Do you think it would be too much to ask to email or patreon message patrons when you plan to work on their pieces? If it's a pain in the ass or sucks some of the spontaneous fun out of your arting don't worry about it, but if it isn't a big deal, I know I would definitely tune in to see the breedening in the sketchual stages.
