What is your opinion on the RDP Parsec scene

parsec is ok but the view can be misleading while you derby the angles ect. if i ever get the chance id like to try beammp!

i have played on parsec an i have ran in a big money show an getting into its no hard just watching your hits from the camera spot can take some time to work with if some one would do video on YouTube for how to move it in the game it would help to get the feel on parsec. butt o me most guys are running money shows Monday to Friday I work night an most fun runs are open free for all no set builds rules for up coming shows an an so many different builds for guys on discord if there was on gorning body that laid out base rules for all styles of classes it make building easier on us that run only on there days off. like tonight show would be great to get info on how your doing a budget build car.

The issue I have with beammp is the ones who constantly post about how much better it is compared to parsec and just bash everyone who has something negative to say about beammp

I have only played on parsec twice but here is my opinion.for someone who lacks computer skills it can be difficult to figure out how to send vehicles and skins but once on it's not bad.i myself is the type who doesnt really like to engage in conversation with strangers so the constant chat can be too much for me at times.the view of the cars definitely takes some getting used to but not a deal breaker for me

It's a little different for collision based sports. You're asking a lot of a server to be an accurate physics simulator for a derby over a connection with varying ping. Besides that, from what I've been told, anyone who logs into those servers gets a free version of the mod, and if I'm being honest this is barely a full paying job still, and I'd love to keep working on it full time

yes a1 is the only one with a server on beamMP just for derby's but that's why RDP needs to make a server. meo drag has a server and the monster truck modder also has a server. but the derby drivers are the only people in the beam community that wont play BeamMP. Every time I've played BeamMP I had a good time. Also I never joined a voice chat on beamMP they just 3,2,1go in the in game text chat.

Why do you say parsec isn't easy to use? If finding people to play with is too difficult for some I could try to make that easier for players. I think there are definitely hosts that don't mind if you don't have a mic.

I don't like parsec because 1 its not easy to use and yes I agree with everyone else is saying but also the beam mp was easy to use but lacks good quality. Meaning there is hardly any good derby servers on it. You got 1 guy I know on beam.mp and it a-1 gaming. Also not all of us have a mic. I don't but I just like getting g into a lobby and have a good fun run derby or if you can setup a 5 or 10 dollar buy in for money would be great but just because someone don't have or use a mic don't mean they can't play. I am a console guy. Only reason i.play on pc is for this game cause I derby in real.life as most of us do in here so not spending money on mics just to play a derby with real.people. I have just as much fun with computer but would.like to play online bitnits not easy to get in the online to.play and must have mics make it unenjoyable for.me to deal with. Love the game wish playing online was easier and can join and play not worry about a mic. Keep up good work on game. Please add more.mopars in the game eventually. Thanks

I think parsec is bad for all the reasons listed. and im still confused on why so many people refuse to try BeamMP it works like single player but with 24/7 online servers. and all the issues it had before have been fixed and its a really smooth fun experience just like single player is but with online players. I think parsec is good for big money shows but for people who want to use a wheel or use first person or just be able to play 24/7 i think BeamMP is better for that reason and i would love to see some RDP servers on BeamMP sometime that anyone can join whenever they want.

There is a multiplayer mod, but unfortunately due to the way the physics work it will never be as good as playing locally, requires everyone to have a good computer and internet connection, and less accurate physics. I'm also a keyboard driver, so I understand. 1 player is allowed to play with keyboard (for us it's always me) so maybe your host would be willing to let you use it.

I voted dislike because 1) you have to use a controller(i have no bias against people who do, i just haven't used a controller for over a decade) 2) the view. I know nothing can be done about that at the moment, but hopefully either beam itself creates a multiplayer or someone creates a mod so we can use incar/follow cam instead of the current same camera view for everyone.
