Life update

I am still hoping to be able to resume work in Feb as planned. Most obstacles have been addressed, at least temporarily in some cases. One last curve ball is needing to go for a barrage of medical tests for something I thought was minor and may not be. But I should know more about that in the next few days. If that ends up needing surgery then I may be out of action for February as well, but then I'll just push the no-bill period onwards until I've recovered. Sadly it would directly impact my ability to see, which is slightly important for writing, but hopefully the recovery period is only a few weeks.
I've been trying out a new system for writing, while I've got the time to waste on experimentation, which involves sitting on Discord voice chat in the evenings as I work. It's gone pretty well, and I may make it a more regular thing. It happens around 8pm to 10pm (GMT+2), so if you're free around then, pop in and say hi :)
That's all I can think of for now, so keep well, and I will let you know how things go with me :) You know what horses are like...inveterate narcissists.
