Lance Anoa’i Asks For MLW Release

Fightful Select has confirmed that Lance Anoa’i, member of the legendary Anoa’i wrestling dynasty, has asked for his release from Major League Wrestling. Thus far it has not been granted by MLW.
Lance, 31, has been working for NOAH in recent months while off television from MLW. Much like Alex Hammerstone, who also requested his release from the company, he was not featured on MLW’s newest online roster update. He’s not wrestled for MLW since July and is not booked for any upcoming shows.
We've learned that from MLW's side, there were some issues earlier this year that the two sides were working to rectify, but as of now, Lance wants out of the company.
Also, Alex Hammerstone confirmed on Twitter that our story about him asking for his release from MLW is correct.
UPDATE: in an update, Lance and Jucy Finau both claim they've been granted their releases
