IMPACT Contract Still Set To Expire
Added 2023-09-10 19:00:03 +0000 UTCDeonna Purrazzo is still set for free agency at the start of 2024.
One of the most decorated champions in IMPACT Wrestling history is set to hit the free agent market at the start of next year. Purrazzo’s deal expires at the end of 2023, as Fightful has previously reported, and we’ve confirmed that as of now, there has not been an extension reached.
At 29 years old, Purrazzo will reach free agency outside of the pandemic era of wrestling for the first time since 2018. She was signed by WWE, then released in 2020. She actually worked for IMPACT for several months without a contract, including winning the Knockouts Championship, before signing. She’d go on to be a three time Knockouts Champion, as well as winning the ROH Women’s Championship, the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship and the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship
Purrazzo had signed a multi-year contract years ago, and IMPACT Wrestling included an option year when reworking the contract after she’d outperformed her original deal. We’re told that even after they picked up Purrazzo’s option, there was a slim possibility that she could have went elsewhere.

Hope she goes back to WWE so Alex can act like he’s hated her this whole time.

2023-09-11 16:34:40 +0000 UTCI really don;t understand why people like her. She's terrible on the mic, and mediocre at best in the ring. I remember her botch filled match against Jordynne Grace which Jordynne sold like a champ for her. Deonna went to hit her with the title belt and missed her by like 3 feet and Jordynne sold it like she got hit with a sledge hammer was hilarious.
