More on AR Fox missing AEW All In

We’ve learned more about the AR Fox situation, one that had some heat on him within AEW.

We’re told that AR Fox was planned for the match with Swerve Strickland against Sting and Darby Allin at All In, unlike the situation with Rey Fenix where he was never truly set for the match and was planned to be removed. It was noted to Fightful that Fox hasn’t worked international dates since 2016, and the company did not feel like he was forthright about his ability to work outside the country, though we haven’t heard exactly why he couldn’t. Ultimately, the late switch caused what we saw unfold on Dynamite, with AR Fox taking a pin, losing to Nick Wayne.

We’re told that despite being well liked in the company, there was heat on him for the situation.

There was some discussion regarding his status with the Mogul Embassy Affiliates and whether or not he should stay, but ultimately the split was decided on.

2nd one in this case unfortunately

That still seems kinda harsh kicking someone out the group cause you couldn't work international for whatever reason. You could of just did to Fox what they did with Nick Wayne and just breast him senseless to the point where he wouldn't of been able to make it and then replace him with Christian. Thats weird

Matthew Brownlee

The most likely cause of not being able to work internationally is either medical (if you have a medical condition, or if the country of destination has a restriction on persons with specific diseases) or criminal (felony convictions have prevented several wrestlers from working internationally before).

Nostradamvs

If he willingly went along with the storyline and the match setup without telling anyone important information, such as he won’t/can’t work international dates, then yes he should have some consequences

Jason Gilmartin

Yes, people who are not convicted of anything should not be punished until they are.

So he should lose to a youngboy and get kicked put of his faction while the dude whose mugshot is all over gets to pin someone and stay champ?

MightyDave

I've read the post thanks - my comment was based on the final sentence: "There was some discussion regarding his status with the Mogul Embassy Affiliates and whether or not he should stay, but ultimately the split was decided on.". I very much doubt, when he first joined the group, he knew they would be working London. It doesn't say he 'lied' either - perhaps just not transparant about where he can and can't work (internationally).

Jack

fella HE COULD NOT WORK THE SHOW

Fightful Select

That's not why he couldn't go

Fightful Select

Reread the post. He wasn't forthright about it. Screwing up at a job is forgivable. Lying usually isn't.

rocksolid124

Seemed like a very bad look especially combined with FtR winning and Cash getting the pin

David

Why can’t he work international dates?

Dave Snell

I feel like I'm even more confused about the situation now.

CSDX

Well he shouldn't of agreed to the story if he was gonna back out last minute

Marshall Enloe

Seems a bit harsh to remove him from the faction entirely because he couldn't work an international venue.

Jack

Whatever the travel issues with Fox the break with Swerve + reconciliation with Darby was sloppily done and could’ve played much better

David C

It's really unfortunate, I did like him with swerve and the mogul faction.

His AEW career might be over if they don’t trust him.

Niners94

So, his grandmother didn't pass away/it wasn't because of his grandmother passing away?
