Here's the latest on CM Punk that Fightful has heard from. CM Punk was at the Cauliflower Alley Club this week, seemingly in a very good mood. He accepted his honor, and took tons of pictures with fans and other wrestlers.
Punk and Miro had been in contact since the rumors of their argument took place.
However, in the days prior, AEW did in fact launch the investigation into the CM Punk and Jack Perry's altercation. We've been told that they have been collecting statements and interviews about the nature of what happened.
We're told there is footage of the incident, as there are cameras all over Wembley.
In addition we have learned that Punk and Tony Khan had an interaction that was described as "contentious," but little context was provided.
For those still holding out hope, or tin foil hat-ting, this is not a work. As with anything in wrestling, it can certainly be turned into one down the line.

2023-09-01 13:48:10 +0000 UTCI think you’re over estimating the amount of cameras. There is cameras pointing at the public areas but very few pointing at the private areas, especially the changing rooms where the ramp was set up. The area was also most likely sectioned off and dark.

Example: Former co-worker and his family were getting harassed by a guy. He confronted the person, instead reporting to their boss. Footage looked like he came in, started shouting for no reason and flipped the guy off, making threatening gestures for no reason. Obviously not the case.
