- We can confirm that Jim Ross' current AEW deal is set to be up within a couple of months.

- To clarify our report from yesterday, there was never any serious discussion of Bray Wyatt appearing at WWE Summerslam, contrary to rumors. 

- Plenty of EA UFC 5 game info will be emerging throughout the end of August and early September.

Adam Priest

Adam Priest notes. Airs on the 8/24 episode of The Spotlight.

Never fully got trained when he started wrestling. Doesn’t count his first two years as much. Once he met people in New South, he started getting proper training.

Says pandemic was the best thing to happen to him because they kept running in the south, so he was able to stay active and face some top names.

AEW Dark appearances came through working out at the Nightmare Factory and QT Marshall.

Says AEW treated Indie guys well during the pandemic and made sure they got paid.

Says he will be back in ROH. Was part of the Universal tapings previously.

Had a blast at BattleSlam. “It’s fun being the token white guy. I got some street cred.”

Thinks the idea behind TERMINUS was an East Coast PWG. Hopes TERMINUS returns and is trying to talk Jonathan Gresham into it.

Didn’t know who Johnny, James, and Tony were from DPW when they hit him up and was surprised they had so many followers. Praises the talent coming out of NC; BK Westbrook Bojack, Jackson Drake.

Would like to get more eyes on ACTION.

Will never take the apron Swanton bomb from Billie Starkz. Says Billie has earned everything she’s gotten.

Praises McKenzie Morgan and says she has a lot of potential. She’s only been wrestling for a year.

A smart guy told me “I wasted half my life worrying about signing a contract. The more I worried, the further away I got. When I stopped worrying, fortunate came.”

Thinks the territory life is romantic and finds value in finding yourself.

Told himself he needed to “dumb things down” and worry about three things so he could start reacting more. Wants to get people invested in him as a wrestler more than just doing a bunch of moves.

Knows a lot of people use a DDT, but has worked to establish his as a finish. “Everyone hits home runs, Barry Bonds had a different swing.”

Has done deathmatches, but won’t mess with glass. Thinks there is some beauty in deathmatches, but also some of it really sucks.
