VRChat 3D stereoscopic camera

This prefab allows you to take, view and save 3D stereoscopic images. See the video above to see how it works.

The 3D effect can obviously not be seen on the video, but I added a few example images above to show you the kind of images you can take, cross your eyes to see the effect! The Spri'vali avatar (made by Hiyu) is not included in the package.

This prefab doesn’t work on Quest

Key features

• 940 triangles, 2 materials
• A version with a flashlight is included, but this will rank your avatar as "Poor", so if you want to keep your avatar more optimized, you can use the prefab that doesn't include the flash light
• 66 parameters, but feel free to use the VRCFury "unlimited parameter" component to reduce the parameter size
• Pictures can be saved using the VRChat camera, they will be saved as cross-eyed pictures (see the video and images above)

Installation

• Install VRCFury via VCC https://vrcfury.com/download, I was using version 1.1013.0. This is required to merge the animator with the FX animator.

In your armature, find the Right/Left hand bone. Then drag and drop the "3DCamera" prefab as a child of that bone.

License

You can:

• Make the avatar that uses this asset public.
• Use it in commissions; there's no commercial license.
• Redistribute or share the asset to others, but I would still prefer if you link to the Gumroad page instead.

You cannot:

• Sell parts of this asset, even if the asset is modified. Do not sell customizations of this asset.
• Ask for a refund if you decided to pay for this asset.

The custom shaders are licensed under the MIT license, so the rules above do not apply to the shaders.

If your avatar uses this asset, you don't need to credit me.
