Grayson Waller was not planned for WWE Raw, despite rumors

Ahead of WWE Raw, several Twitter accounts perpetuated a rumor that NXT star Grayson Waller was to appear on the March 20 episode of Raw. With Waller set to face Johnny Gargano at NXT Stand and Deliver, this led many to speculate that Waller would be involved with Gargano on Raw. However, Gargano's match with Dominik Mysterio came and went with no involvement from Waller.
Not only did Waller not appear on WWE Raw, he was never scheduled to. We spoke to numerous sources at Raw that said that Waller was not brought in, was not involved in the creative plans, and was not set for the show in any capacity for March 20. The first that creative had heard of it is when they were asked if the rumors were true, which were quickly shot down.
