Indie promoter Mouse talks Billie Starkz, Worst Venues, More

Jeremy Lambert spoke to indie promoter Mouse, who is the father of Billie Starkz. The interview goes up Thursday on The Spotlight

- Said Billie needs to start learning from Eddie Guerrero and start cheating to win matches. She needs to win to start paying for her own stuff.

- Billie’s mom handles all the merchandising. Mouse can only claim the Big Starkz Brand.

- Was surprised Top Flight were able to wear BSB kneepads on Dynamite. Dante Martin bought a hoodie, wore it on TV and was refunded. They open their home to wrestlers and try to do right by them.

- Billie went to an IWA show when she was younger and Necro Butcher became her favorite wrestler. They were invited because Ian Rotten worked with Billie’s mom at a call center.

- Billie first started training with 2 Tuff Tony and Mouse knew she wasn’t going to leave the ring once she got in. Had no reservations about her training when she was young.

- Had to speak with Billie after she did “dumb shit” at SCI (swanton off the top, to the floor, onto a set up chair after her opponent moved). Told her that her decisions don’t just affect her, they also affect her opponent and people watching. Trusts her to fall down because she has a lot of experience there.

- Doesn’t know where Billie will sign. Wants her to sign when it’s for money that can change her life. “I don’t want her to have a contract and then she still has to work at day care.”

- Billie’s mom sees everything. “This is not just for the weirdos, it’s for the promoters as well.” Her mom saw the message for an AEW booking before Billie.

- Praises Titus Alexander and believes he should be signed.

- According to Arik Cannon, F1RST Wrestling show at Mall of America outsold WCW Nitro episode because WCW only sold tickets on the floor while F1RST sold balcony tickets.
