I received this cosplay a while ago but I didn't get the wig in until just recently so I was finally motivated to make a few adjustments. Full disclosure I bought a LARGE version of this cosplay, sizes are fake and made up and you should never let the tags on an outfit define how you see yourself.

NOT to say there is anything wrong with Large clothing sizes as a rule, obviously. I run between a 4-6 dress size all the way down to a 2 sometimes and up to a 10/12 in other brands. My point is that clothing sizes (ESPECIALLY those marketed at women/femme presenting folks) is a fucking racket. Buy whatever bits fit you the best and make you feel good. Nothing else matters.

This company's stuff (while very high quality) runs microscopic. I needed a large or my shoulders were gonna bust outta the jacket and my thighs were gonna pop those belt things xD At the same time a large top was waaaaay too big so I had to shorten the straps a bit to accommodate in several places.

Another critical take away here: the reason that influencers and celebrities look so good in their clothes is often because they can afford to get them custom TAILORED TO THEIR BODY (or, like me, can do it themselves) it's completely unfair to normal folks to be held up to standards of people who can essentially get every wardrobe item they wear sculpted to fit their shape. Sometimes you get lucky and something off the rack fits perfect, but the sad reality is that that is absolutely not the case. And the average person just trying to buy some day to day stuff is comparing themselves to a celebrity wearing the "same" item but HEAVILY TAILORED TO FIT THEIR EXACT UNIQUE BODY.

Anyway I kinda lost the thread on this bc Im all fired up.... But this shit just ISNT talked about as much as it should be and sometimes I gotta do a scream.
