It was actually 2,650 meters long, and about 30 meters wide; This seems a bit strange, why is Mark guessing if Quark gives him the exact dimensions? Or if it's the narrator providing them then it seems unnecessary detail. About 2km is good enough for readers π > And now, about 45-ish days later, none of it seemed real. Both the about and the ish are superfluous, but if you're going to keep one the about is better. > It had been about 50-ish days since Why not say about 6 or 7 weeks instead of using days?

2026-02-08 17:40:56 +0000 UTCIm surprised Mark has been constantly consuming Oricalcum. It also strange that he hasn't been trying more stuff with his house in general. Like why doesnt he have a computer or a calculator in there? Som obviously stuff that would help.

2026-02-08 09:02:10 +0000 UTCTftc! Definitely a spanner in the works following last book but slowing down is definitely the better option. I wonder how long it will last for. Page 27: but Iβm also pissed at how easy it was him to do it.β -> it was for him Page 28: At least monthβs afterparty, -> last month's Page 31: In the Old World of pre-Reveal, theyβd hooking up a person with Parry to the city wall grid and then sacrifice them to deflect an attack from a kaiju. -> they'd hook up a person Page 47: And then he slammed the phone onto the table and broke it before then he Manipulated it away, slamming it into a pile of trash in the corner. -> broke it before he Manipulated it away

2026-02-08 05:43:54 +0000 UTCWell, Somebody Important may in fact be justified here. In his favor, he did pull back once the dichotomy between what he pointed out, their lacking strength, and the level of his threat, which per his own admission (by acknowledging Mark as being right) was normal for his level. So, it was meant to be stoppable. It wasn't because of their lacking strength however. And so we come back to the morality side. If he didn't perform this action, and the reset was accomplished (even if it took them a decade or more likely centuries), then they would have been woefully unprepared for what was to come. Now, and hopefully Mark addresses this during that meeting, they have an actual goal to aim for. They must have forces strong enough to compete with a hundred of this old god. That sounds like a lot of work, and it will be. But time is something they have. Not in spades, not with threats like the Demons, but they have enough. They can make small steps. Start by raising up more kaiju killers, real ones with the power to stand on their own, and go from there. He should also throw in that this really changes nothing for the timeframe in truth. they know nothing of most of those empires. It will take time to discover even traces of what was lost. So for now, humanity continues to grow themselves stronger. To fight against the monsters known, and the monsters that WILL be known in time.
