2026-01-11 01:41:04 +0000 UTCHe has been weirded by Thrashtalon, so I'd propose that Thrashtalon probably made him less goblin/more elf to enable the elven law shenanigans they're pulling. There are likely provisions on the mental state or having been changed in some fundamental way (like Godking Dominant did to turn elves into goblins) that would prevent a regular goblin from counting as a (full) elf before the system.

2025-11-27 20:09:07 +0000 UTCI think this is somewhat selfcontradictory: Either Mark ends up hating the Empires (because it turns out they're in cahoots with Thrashtalon), but then Thrashtalon would already have control of the Empires, and therefore could simply burn them to the ground himself, or the Empires are not with Thrashtalon, in which case a betrayal from a high ranking individual cultist (like, say, a princess) might hurt Mark, and further alienate him from the Empires / make him distrust them even more, but I don't think it'd be enough to get him to destroy the Empires entirely, especially to the extent Thrashtalon seems to want and expect.

Arcs always has reasons for his stuff so... How? How does a fully dispersed ego get into the custody of Thrashtalon? Only two answers I think. Either where he got dispersed to is under the BETRAYER God's control or.... FAR MORE INTERESTING! One of the three witches BETRAYED the ritual and is a cultist. Thrashtalon does seem joyful that Mark is absolutely going to have more problems with the empires than even he does so... I'm thinking one of the princesses. Probably Waleria because third princess would have no emptional impact.

Kardi was always coming back of course. Luck based powers don't force you to walk into your own execution unless there is a good outcome for you. Grax though? I don't have a huge problem with him remaining in the story especially if Leash got involved but... He kinda seems like a completely different character. A thousand times more mature, reasoned, and knowledgeable. He's quoting ancient system laws and elven bureaucratic loopholes where previously he was mostly the horny/hungry bitey one. Admittedly there was the massive shift in his demeanor when he realized Mark had seen the green but... when we contrast how he is acting now with how he treated Goofy? It's like he's full elf instead of the full, rabidly insane, goblin he was earlier and I don't know what to make of that.
