2024-07-08 23:46:25 +0000 UTCI just wanna share some thoughts with you, dear author. I like this story a lot. It's got that uplift vibe I loved from Ark, but it feels more grounded. The scope of Ark wound up so impossibly huge it began to feel detached, somehow. More about the ideal and the power fantasy than the grounded feeling of hope. I like that AB feels grounded, like you can see the fight and the reasons behind it. Maybe it's just that the setting is modern-adjacent though? A small part of me wishes Isoko and Mark end up together. I suspect that small part has some acephobia in it somewhere, and maybe a lil crush on Isoko too cause she's amazing. But a larger part of me is really excited to read this developing friendship knowing I don't have to worry (much) about romantic drama and subtext. I also really like how you illustrated that talking dreams over with friends can help you realize and define your own. That it's a process, and bringing other people into it can make it more real. That's all for now. I look forward to these chapters more than I did Ark, even. And I hope you can hold in mind that life comes first, that the chapter will be out eventually regardless and family is more important.

Was pretty sure we saw Addashield fly under his own kinesis before he became Addavein, so I'm not sure why Mark thinks he'll need a flight belt to fly in serious heights. Maybe I'm misremembering Addashield though, since it's been so long. I thought though, that kinesis flight was merely the inevitable consequence of high tier kinesis. Being able to lift your element with enough strength to lift yourself. I didn't think it had Cosmere rules where the human body was spiritually inviolable in a way that prevents lifting yourself.
