Poor Nizir. Also: Poi’s insistence that sex is or should be “meaningless” is surprising given all the biology and hormones that kinda contradict that. A mind mage should know better. A therapist might not demonize you for one night stands, but it is a great way to end up alone over time.

The love interest stuff doesn’t seem plausible seeing as Erick’s one true love, Quilatalap the Undead Sex God, is currently MIA. Maybe Erick can adventure in Quintlan soon!

I loved reading from Nirzir's POV. I never realized how deep her obsession with Eric was, so reading from her crazy POV was hilarious. She's borderline a yandere at this point.

^^^ The only thing I would disagree with with regards to this response is that he gave in and only dated men, as they recently sorta had it out about all that back in enduring forge and he “dated” that inscriptionist for a moment, and it seems like women are more on the table now than they were before that part of the trip. Otherwise yeah spot on, much easier to fool around with/date men due to janes hangups. Has to be more serious when it comes to women it seems/worth the Jane factor to Erick.

I loved this chapter, the bit about Nirzir really made me laugh. A bit afraid, like Erick, that the shoe will drop and we're in for a cataclysmic event. Thanks for the chapter :)

He's Bi, but from what we've seen/heard throughout the story, he hasn't been with a woman for nearly as long as he has had Jane. Jane transferred her hatred of her mother abandoning her onto basically any and every woman that ever showed the slightest interest in Erick, so Erick pretty much gave in and only dated men in an effort to keep his daughter happy.

Collateral_ink

It has been said that he's bi multiple times throughout the story

Codered999

So, is Erick gay, straight, or bisexual? I'm pretty sure it's bi but I might be wrong.

Decimus

Eric has really stepped into a hornets nest of political intrigue.

I liked this chapter quite a lot.

I do appreciate that even in a time of world changing events and diplomatic relations between nations, Erick's insistence at keeping people at arms length is a grounding point. You can't get too far from being a person when everyone is shown having very instinctual needs.

I've been hoping and waiting for foreign affairs (hah) and outside opinions and perspectives for a while now. So thanks Arcs.
