“A pleasure to meet you,” Erick said, welcoming

Comments

“…and if it weren’t for Bright Smile’s eagerness to rise to power and Volaro’s complacency [competency?] with the law…” Word mix-up? Cheers

Can a God be reincarnated? Have there been other elves from different universe, who've gotten transplanted to "name of the world?" before and got instant killed by some Orcol because they went into rage? You would think that Aloethag would intercede for the transplanted Elf though, wouldn't she, for nostalgia if not love for her lost Elven race?

MCT

I think the dragon curse infects only the generation after Kirginatharp. If Rozeta had another child, Kirginatharp would not fight his sibling curse related

Julkur

Regular dragons do still feel compelled to fight paradoxed dragons. At least, that was the implication I got when Big M said Kirginatharp would still fight Bright Smile if she showed up to his meeting. Which has me wondering why/how Kirginatharp is able to meet and talk with Rozeta without going bananas. I mean, I can understand her not going crazy due to her being a god in addition to a dragon, but we know Kirginatharp is ground zero for the curse, so shouldn't he still be compelled to fight her? Or am I wrong?

Something I can't remember, do regular dragons get compelled to fight paradox'd dragons? I was unsure of that but I guess not if two are going to openly work for Erick

SightandSound

Oh wow, thanks for answering! I knew there had to be something I was missing, and it was just eluding me that these two were paradoxed.

Ano Ano

The various Paradox'd dragons are always able to be like this, and Volaro and Burhendurur are both those kinds of dragons; Carnage and Death, respectively. This is why dragons want to be Paradox'd in the first place; to separate themselves from the Curse of normal Dragon Essence.

Arcs

I feel like I missed something. How were the two dragon ministers able to be in the same room as each other without the curse kicking in and starting a fight?

Fairy Moon inserting herself in conversations out of nowhere, like she was always there, never fails to make me chuckle

'for I’m not' -> 'for now I’m not'

Corwin Amber

Yeah, Aloethag is not a goddess you want to piss off, I'm guessing. I mean, from what we've heard, the elves of the old cosmology were basically nazis, so consumed with the concept of racial purity and beauty that they couldn't even get along with each other, let alone any other race. Which essentially makes Aloeth hitler...so, yeah. Annoy her at your own peril.

Erick rebuked Melemizargo in chapter 192 and has now gotten Fairy Moon to back down on one of her demands. Amazing.

Should work. The main problem is that it would massively tick of a goddess, and while Eric might be able to ignore her the former Orcol will be lvl1 with no protection against divine wrath.

Katarak

Really enjoyed this ch, the kingdom building and clashing heads is definitely nice to see. Especially with Erick losing his head like that on Fairy Moon, love that for him 👏🏾.

Ah ok, i know that the Orcoll were a mix of Troll and another race, but i wasn't able to recall wich one, so i said Elve because of the Blessing of Beauty..... But also apart from the mistake on my comment, do you think it's possible for what i have written to happen???

Azgaroth

You're very mistaken and the Orcols who hear you say they're related to Elves would kill you on the spot. They are a mix of Orc and Troll. The goddess of the elves forcibly made herself the god of the Orcols to save herself and forces all of them to be beautiful by her standards because she wants her elves back.

Codered999

Thank for the chapter. I was thinking with Reincarnation, the talk with erasing Blessing, Curse and other things, that the Blessing of Beauty on Orcoll will be erased.... And perhaps that Eric can separate some Orcoll into Elf and Troll...(who were the two race that fused into the Orcoll, if i am not mistaken....)

Azgaroth

I'm kinda sad now that back when Erick was discussing his new species with Rozeta he didn't take "Earth Fae". Given the heavy involvement of Fae after that, and will likely continue going forward, it feels like a missed opportunity. I don't think Fairy Moon is capable of treating anyone who isn't Fae as an equal, even if she wants to (which she kinda/sorta/maybe wants to with Erick). Also, given the whole discussion with Fairy Moon about Fae being born out of Benevolence, it would have been interesting to see if his creation of a new Element would have altered his race. According to Kirginatharp, he is the literal embodiment of Benevolence...maybe this is just semantics playing a game with my mind, but isn't that EXACTLY what it means to be Fae in this world? To be a living embodiment of an element?

Collateral_ink

I like Fairy Moon tentatively saying things to figure out "Reality"
