The End of March Update

This month felt hella unproductive despite being busy as all get out throughout it.

Hi, everyone.  It's been five weeks since my last full review was published which doesn't make me happy.  Wargaming makes me aware of what ship is coming out next so I can properly budget time to have my reviews ready for when the ship is released.  Sometimes things go wrong and I get ambushed with last-minute reviews.  Other times, a ship gets delayed and I end up sitting on a complete (or nearly complete) review with nothing to show for my time.

March ended up being a month like this.  

Early March was spent pressing hard to try and get my review of Duca degli Abruzzi, the new tier VII Italian cruiser ready.  However, balance demands forced the ship to go back for more changes after having been "finalized" in late December.  Apparently no one at Wargaming had noticed the feedback that she was terrible.  Anyway, she's being buffed and I'll amend my review to account for the changes when it gets close to her release time again.

When I was made aware of Abruzzi's delay, I put the ask out among my Gudbote patrons and higher to vote on the next ship to review.  Graf Spee ended up winning by a significant margin and I've been hard at work with that review.  I'm happy to say I'm very close to finishing and she should be published Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest, barring any catastrophes.

Hopefully Wargaming will accelerate the release schedule somewhat so I can publish some of the backlog of all-but-finished reviews I'm sitting on.  Massachusetts, T-61 and Abruzzi all sit on my "ready" shelf (the latter will need a bit of editing).  I just need the go-ahead for their content embargo to lift before I can publish those.
