MTG: Liliana's Whip
Added 2015-03-02 12:37:56 +0000 UTCSo I guess Elspeth dies at the end of the Theros story line, but that fact that she's a planeswalker, and that Theros has a very porous afterlife I bet she'll come back. It would be cool if she came back as White/Black to match Athreos. The joke here is that Liliana gets a hold of Erebos's whip, and modifies it to bring back Elspeth as her personal sex-slave. I like the idea that Liliana can keep fucking Elspeth to death, and bring her back for more.

Yeah, they already did that with Garruk. I know what you mean about every character being an anti-hero. It feels silly if there are more anti-heroes than regular, actual heroes, because than what is the point of reference?
2015-03-02 15:40:22 +0000 UTCElspeth was my favorite planeswalker of the recurring mono colored ones. Part of what I loved about her was that she's a straight up hero in the MTG world of anti-heroes. Her death at the end of theros was super sad :( If she comes back I hope it isn't evil, just because mtg does that a little too much.
