I like that one a lot too. Damn. So many options. I am set on doing Elspeth though, and I want something that'll tie directly to her, so now I'm actually leaning Theros. Not decided yet.

That's the hydra Polukranos, the World Eater. He was knocked out of the heavens when the god of the sun, Heliod, fought the god of the forge, Purphoros. Polukranos slept for ten years beneath a forest, but was woken up when Elspeth traveled to Theros, but she totally killed him after that.
