Crazy week, y'all! I heard the Midwest got cryogenically frozen and will be available in roughly a hundred years when scientists defrost it! Tell us what the future's like, y'all! 

No, seriously, I hope everyone's warm and content and using the weather as an excuse to have their favorite foods, whether they're hot like soup and tea, or (like us down here with our temperatures in the high-70s) iced and refreshing. <3

Stuff that happened:

• The Kickstarter is up to $1613! This is fantastic! I don't expect it to get many backers, but I am totally happy with how it's probably going to end up when it closes next week. You all are the best.
• The new Alysha book is done! I'll do my own short-pass edits on it this coming week and then send it off to first readers.
• The Transcend audiobook is probably about two months from completion, at which point you all will start getting it here on Patreon. Barring any weirdness, which... I still don't have any status updates on, so I guess we'll see how it goes.
• I am committed to streaming once a week, and I'm still enjoying it, and I'm getting art done, so double-bonus? Last night I worked on some art for the newsletter, which is getting a free Alysha short, plus some interior art for the Alysha book.
• Oh! And I'm working on the prizes for the Patreon promotion; the wallpaper (that's for everyone $5+) is at the halfway-and-no-let's-start-over point, and I'm almost done packing the stickers for the $10+. Patreon did not make it easy for me to figure out how to get those rewards to you. I have sent them a slightly irritated survey about it. -_-

I close with a curious birbfren who was determined to have patio service at a local restaurant. 

He did, in fact, make it into the patio and spent some time there searching for crumbs before the waitress startled him and he recalled he hadn't paid for any of the food. Exit birb, stage right. :D
