Hey everyone! I'm back with a mini storytelling mod. Beauty and Blush is a mini mod that allows your Sims to gain a new makeup skill! This skill comes with 10 levels, and Sims can increase their levels by:

• Applying and Practicing Makeup at the Vanity
• Offering Makeup at the Styling Station (Get Famous)
• NEW: Practice Makeup Interaction available on the Vanity
• NEW: Computer Interactions
• NEW: Makeup Skill Books

This skill is available for Teens-Elders.

Practicing and Applying Makeup:
When your Sim applies or practices makeup at the vanity, they will get a buff depending on the level they are at:

• Low Level: (Levels 1-3) Unsatisfied Buff
• Mid-Level: (Levels 4-6) Satisfactory Buff
• High Level: (Levels 7-10) Satisfied Buff

Makeup Functionality:
This mod has a similar feature to my NO EA Makeup mod which overrides EA's makeup. So, your Sims won't be wearing any makeup after they're done applying it. This mod also overrides the makeup at the Styling Station. The good news is, if you use this mod, you will no longer need my NO EA Makeup mod, since I incorporated it here!

Trait:
This mod also comes with a Makeup Enthusiast trait which you can select in the Hobby section in CAS. Sims with this trait can:

• Compliment Makeup (Interest category)
• Criticize Makeup (Malicious category)
• Talk about Favorite beauty SimTuber (Interest category)
• Give Makeup Advice (Interest category)
+ more depending on their makeup skill level. Almost all interactions are under Interests but also look under Affection.

These Sims will also get an inspired buff whenever they are around other makeup enthusiasts.

Computer Interactions:

Sims can gain in the makeup skill also at the computer by:
• Researching Makeup Techniques (Level 1)
• Reading Beauty Blogs (Level 3)
• Watch and Follow Makeup Tutorials (Level 4)
• Take Online Beauty Course (Level 7)
• Host a Virtual Makeup Class (Level 7)
• Start a Beauty Blog +Blog Interactions (Level 10)

Computer Interactions can be found under the Web pie menu on computers. (Except for the Beauty Blog, it has its own pie menu).

Skill Books:
This mod also comes with three (3) skill books, that will help your Sim with learning more about makeup. You can find them under the Skills tab when purchasing.

Mentoring:
When your Sim reaches level 5 of the makeup skill, then they will be able to mentor other Sims who have no or little makeup skills, either for free or for simoleons! Simply click on the sim and select mentor.

Overview of Level Achievements and Interactions:

Here is an overview of the achievements by skill level. Note that with this mod, some social interactions are intertwined with the makeup enthusiast trait.

• Level 1: Research Makeup Techniques
• Level 2: Discuss Skincare Routine
• Level 3: Read Beauty Blogs
• Level 4: Watch and Practice Makeup Tutorials
• Level 5: Mentor Sims in Makeup
• Level 6: Talk About Favorite Makeup Style
• Level 7: Take Online Beauty Courses (§200)
• Level 8: Discuss Advanced Makeup Techniques
• Level 9: Host Virtual Beauty Class (Your Sim will earn between §100-§500)
• Level 10: Create a Beauty Blog (§50)

Max Makeup Skill Achievement:
Once your Sim maxes out the makeup skill, they will be able to create a Beauty Blog (§50). After they register their blog, they will be able to access other blog interactions such as:

• Sharing Beauty Tips
• Writing Product Reviews
+and more.

For every blog post, they will gain fame and between §1000-§5000! I also decided not to add a cool down to these interactions; so, your Sim can do them as much times as they want!

Small Business Activity:
If you own the Business and Hobbies expansion pack, the makeup skill can be used as an activity for Sims to do! You will need a few Vanity Tables at the venue, and Sims who come to your business will use it to do their makeup! This is also compatible with the club activities in Get Together.
I had some trouble trying to make this skill teachable for the hobby whiteboard, but I will see if I can add that in a future update!

As far as I know, this mod has no conflicts. If you happen to come across a conflict, feel free to report it to my Discord.
