Inside of an E-Book

As expected, back to school week is kicking my tail. I will be more present next week!

Here's the inside of the PG Synopsis e-book, which is at the "let's decide what artwork to add" stage. (This takes thought, which means I haven't done it. My schedule this week has been "do frenzied school prep, collapse at 8 PM and sleep"). But we're still on schedule to finish this for next month's freebie.

More when I am done with the crazy.

Good luck.

My CSS is almost entirely standardized at this point. I do some tweaking every time I put out a new book though, so you can gradually watch my stylesheets iterate if you look at older books. (Small caps were "recent", for instance. Some of my books now have drop caps as well, but I'm not entirely happy with how those get implemented, so my jury's still out on them.) I do like Sigil, though. Lots of people swear by Vellum, but Vellum is Mac-only (with no plans to go Windows), plus Vellum puts out such a standardized result that when I buy ebooks now I go, "Welp, here's another Vellum book, down to the exact same dingbats for chapter separators." >.> I mean, it's good that there're basically pretty, but they all look the same.

This is relevant to my interests! I've poked at Sigil a little. It seems really handy! Do you end up doing any hand-coding with new books, or do you pretty much have your css/layout standardized at this point (other than the odd image, etc)?
