Newsariffic, April Wrap-Up!

So, to wrap up April's writing progress and writing news! (You can see March's here.)
*stares at bars* Okay, so, yeah. This is what happens when I once again put my nose to the grindstone on a single project. PG5 went up 64,806 words in April and is only a few days from completion (giving us a late May release date!). But I also added another 10,295 words to Coracle, for a total of 75,101 last month.
No wonder I feel crispy. -_-
Dreamhearth didn't increment at all but I'm not troubled by that. Finishing PG5 will free up a lot of cycles.
Other writing news:
- "Second" (Alysha 2) is getting a long overdue print edition to accompany its e-book and audiobook editions! I hope to have that ready in a couple of weeks.
- "Who is Willing" (Alysha 3)'s audiobook edition should hit retail by the beginning of June. If the "Second" print edition doesn't use up too much of my budget, I'll also do one for "Willing." I briefly pondered Kickstarting it, but I'm not sure I'd make enough money Kickstarting it to justify the time away from writing (!?).
- As I said, PG5 (In Extremis) will probably hit retailers in late May in e-book edition.
So yes, lots of cool stuff in the pipe. Patreon news, now:
- We'll get an update on sales numbers later this week (sorry browsers, that data's not public! But joining the Patreon is easy and cheap, at least?). I am continuing to document my post-Bookbub experience, and the general experience of being an indie author.
- May's official Chat Day is Wednesday the 17th! Chat has become continuous in the Discord channel, but on the 17th I'll do the Q&A format if people want it.
- A shout-out now to Clanmate Alinsa, who wrote a Discord bot to fetch posts from the Patreon community wall and announce them to the Discord channel, so that we don't miss any user-posted content. Thank you for HeraldBot, Alinsa! 💖
That's what I've got for now. I'm going to be crispy and non-responsive until I wrap this book up, so expect me to be daffy for a week or two. But numbers post later this week, and more stuff as it comes up! Thanks for hanging with me, y'all. 😁
