Free Meal prep: Simple Pasta with Red Sauce and Chicken Sausage

Ingredients:
2 containers of the short pasta of your choice
4 cans of diced tomatoes or 1 big ol can of those San Marzano Tomatoes
2 cans tomato paste
one onion, diced,
olive oil
between 2 to Y E S cloves of garlic
Fried Parsley, Oregano, and Basil
salt and pepper to taste.
1 3-pack of adelies chicken apple sausage or the Kirkland brand equivalent
Prep:
dice and sweat onion in high walled saucepan. once fragrant, annihilate diced tomatoes in blender and add them to saucepan. Mix in tomato paste until cohesive. Dice garlic however you like and add that in with all spices. let simmer on low for anywhere between 15 minutes and 4 hours, whatever's convenient.
Cook pasta 2 minutes shy of what the bag says and reserve a pint of starchy water before draining. add pasta back into the pot and stir in sauce, starchy water.
Slice sausage and stir in, let rest for 5 minutes and then divvy up into 10 portions. Allow to cool before putting lids on containers and then once cold in the fridge transfer all portions that are aren't going to eat in the next 2 days into the freezer.
