Given that this whole thing has been a riff on Marvel vs Capcom, it felt only appropriate to finish it with a proper 2v2 TAG TEAM BATTLE!
The real reason for the previous two polls was to help select the fighters for the finale. Now, while Pop Cap did narrowly outrank Madison in the losers bracket, I've decided to put my thumb on the scale just this once, since the potential of this matchup felt so juicy. I promise I'll draw something to make it up to the Mime Enjoyers in the future.
At any rate Let's talk about the fighters!
Beck & Madison
A runaway living weapon and a stifled heiress with violent tendencies, this odd pair have been rivals since childhood. Beck and Madison exchange blows about as often as they kiss with tongue. (Which is quite often). Beck's rough and straightforward fighting style contrasts with Madison's tendency to fight dirty, and exploit weaknesses. Both of them revel in close quarters combat, egging each other on to greater heights. While they're not always on the same wavelength, their competitive nature means that the more skill and power one of them might demonstrate, the more eager the other becomes to match that intensity, and they're definitely no stranger to teamwork when the stars align.
Pink & Yellow
ActiRangers 4 and 5 are often paired together on missions, much to Pink's chagrin. Yellow's bubbly and easygoing personality stands in contrast to Pink's aloof cynicism. On the battlefield they tend to operate at very different ranges, Pink fighting from a distance while Yellow takes things into close quarters, covering each other's weaknesses admirably. Yellow is always eager to get Pink to open up, with mixed success. Despite their differences, they make a truly stunning pair. Pink often rolls her eyes at Yellow, but strangely she always goes along with her shenanigans. (sometimes to her own embarrassment).

We know that both Maddy and Yellow are practically insatiable. I feel like pink would be either knocked out for real for being the only one who'd actually take the fighting part serious. :D OR Pink gets teamed up on for having the only dick in the match. Either way, I see Yellow getting stuck in a 2v1, and just BARELY clutching it becasue she keeps plying Maddy and Beck against each other a few times. :D

2025-01-15 07:49:21 +0000 UTCWhile it'd be a battle fought tooth and nail, I think Ranger beating Rumble here makes sense. Yellow and Pink are constantly paired together for missions, they're *used* to covering each other's weaknesses. And while Beck is an absolute powerhouse, Yellow has endurance that could give even her a run for her money(which is kinda horrifying when you think about it). Plus another factor, Pink has known Madison since childhood and *just* fought Beck, she's already got an idea of how they both fight. And while the same could go for Beck and Madison knowing Pink's moves, Yellow remains a wild card to them. So long as Yellow can keep them occupied while Pink hits them from afar, I think they could pull it off. Of course this isn't to downplay Beck and Madison, those two are incredible fighters and I think they have just as much of a chance at winning(not to mention Rangers winning would heavily rely on Yellow being able to keep them at bay which isn't a given), but all of that plus Beck and Madison's rivalry does make me think Yellow and Pink have a slight edge.

Pink already lost to Beck, and both of them are going to remember how Pink lost. Yellow is already hypersexual and used to teasing Pink, and probably would be on the same wavelength as Beck and Madison. In actual combat, I don't think Yellow would be able to hold back both Madison and Beck to give Pink the range and time she needs to line up a shot.

As much as I kind of want to see Rumble topping Rangers on this one, I think the speed and distance combo would be able to keep two close range fighters on the back-foot. A lot of interesting match ups with these four, regardless 😁

If it was Beck vs. Yellow, I simply couldn't choose, both are characters I love, but for different reasons. Well done Spicy for setting up characters I care this much about.

This match is gonna come down to schmoovement. If Madison can play footsies then Beck can take it the rest of the way, but if they get locked down by Pink's zoning they're done for.
