Poll: Monthly Donation, or Donation per Creation?
Added 2020-11-09 11:44:17 +0000 UTCSo right now my patreon is set up in such a way that you donate for every music video that I publish on YouTube, however, I've done some thinking, and I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better and more predictable for everyone if I changed to a monthly donation model instead ^^
The original idea was that I wouldn't charge for content that I wasn't creating, if I had to take longer breaks or got stuck on a piece of music while this was still a hobby. However, I've consistently been uploading 1-3 pieces of music every month for years now, so I have proven to myself that there's not much to worry about, and I have much more faith in my own ability to deliver regular content now c:
So, what do you think? :o
Would you prefer if I kept things the way they are, or would you prefer if I changed it?
It's worth noting that if this change happens it's irreversible.
Patreon allows creators to change it one way, but not the other ^^;

Since the change is irreversible, this makes sense to me (to have best of both). Those who want to make it monthly can set a one time limit. Otherwise, those who want to give per-upload can do so as well. Just adding on to this thought.

2020-11-09 13:50:59 +0000 UTCyou can keep per-upload donations, people can on their ends setup a limit of donations per month, so if people just wanna donate once a month, they put the limit to 1 donation a month maximum, and they're done ^-^
