Value, edge, and focus, all of these factors need to be in balance. Also we will make our final choices in shape design. So much to do!

The stump is like another pencil, just softer. The brush is most likely to remove eraser grit. The paper towel- that’s when I need a broad wash of value in a non specific shape.

I have a question: In the first video, you used the stump, in the second you use a brush and later a tissue to even out the graphite. Could you tell us the difference between them?
