Merry Christmas!

Just wanted to check in with you guys! I have really enjoyed my days off.. while wonderful the 4 squirrels have definitely been a bit stressful. Esp Plissken, cause he keeps escaping the tent.. hence the name.

I have been a serious homebody, I cant tell you how much JOY I get making my own breakfast and dinner. While the food at work was AMAZING, I do love to cook.. so getting to do that over the holidays has been nice. Doing the dishes.. Not so much. During the holidays I have been going down a few hours almost each day to keep working on the house. Its still a FAR WAYS from being done. At this point I rather just take the time to do it right. The current project is, fix the concrete the contractors destroyed in the ceiling, prime, paint and then be able to use the downstairs to move stuff out of the current loft AND garage.

After I finished my show (which we still have a month of "clean up"), they had a chart where it showed, how often we visited a certain location, and how long we filmed. it was 3509Hours50min. Insane. Not included the extra hour or 2 to prep and clean we filmed for.. you could probably put me close to 4000 hours this year, averages out to about 16.5 hours of work.. not including travel.

NGL still talking to everyone its a little bleek on the work front, but I'll keep working on my new house, work on costumes, have a prints sale, go to the gym.. Make the best of my time off, until/hopefully I get a call.

On a Costume note.. I HAVE been working on Costumes! I finished my Incredibles Costume (minus the wig!), I have also made Yuffies big furry cloak.. Granted I look like a walking bathmat, but this way if I'm pulling a bit self conscious or Cold I can toss it on.

I ordered from new trim from my Nina (Pink short skirt) from Breath of Fire 3, everytime I look at the costume, I feel it needs MORE but I think I just gotta let it go and its going to be a pretty simple costume. Probably end up just being a photoshoot, and like 5 of you will buy the print but I FUCKING LOVED breath of fire.

This costume has been done (ish) for like 4 years and never worn it. Same with my Daphne from Dragons Lair. I debating on commissioning the wig, cause don bluth has that bang style haha but I almost rather have a realistic looking wig. Esp if its for a photoshoot. I wanna recreate when she is in the bubble in the lair but its finding the right photographer.

Lesse.. I wanna say I'm like 70% done toph. Other than the wig,  

I'm hoping to hook back up with Katie cosplay and finish my sailor Moon super S (when she shrinks down), as well as anxious and excited to work on Red dress Aerith (With my friend Ben as Cloud, and Joanie as Tifa). I just need to figure my next AT HOME project. I had talked about doing FUU from MKR with some other cosplayers. Just really loving the idea of cosplaying Old school crap, but honestly I just looked over and forgot I bought some Nausicaa Fabric like 2 years ago.

Thank you to Stan for the Christmas Gift as well. I have really enjoyed getting to rewatch Escaflowne anime!

 I haven't updated my wish list in awhile and you guys have been so generous. I actually not looking for much till I'm able to move in and assess my collection.

Only things I still shop for are Figures, which I have cut down cause I seriously think I'm going to run out of room even in my new office and cels.. which I have a few amazing ones.. the buckt list ones are still out of my reach. Maybe someday, after I sell off some of my non displayed cels.

Miss you guys. Almost had another convention announcement but it landed on the same damn weekend as my NZ/AU conventions. Then I had one in LA at a new convention in Jan, but Due to work and the squirrels, I had to decline.
