So this was my first splash! This was generally the process:
I did my 3 sketches they asked for, and i should have gone for more obvious lighting. This piece was a long process in learning where I needed to go farther.
Next is the color rough after some feedback. Surprisingly they wanted it less saturated, and pushed a stronger rim light
They next three steps are rendering stages just to show the process. I received the 3d model and final colors later in the process so I had to make some adjustments (you can especially tell with the head tweaks they added on the final version, squishing it in that much)
And of course the final version is the last one!
The most important thing here was setting up the good sketches and color roughs (there were more, just not pictured). That way I could just shoot off into renderville. Ultimately i should've done MORE rendering, and they added some on later
