Lei'hra (Furry VRChat Avatar)

This avatar has another update coming down the line, I am just currently very busy with many other projects. If what is here interests you, I think the product is in a perfectly presentable state.

This avatar is a culmination of everything I have learned into one massive project. I learned a lot on this project and I am very happy with the results, this is easily the best avatar I have ever made so far and I hope you all enjoy it! This project originally started as a sequel to my Highgen avatar but became much, much more.

Avatar Features:

• All VRChat facial blendshapes for visemes and blinking.
  • Default blinking is turned off by default as it can glitch gestures slightly, but you may add it to the descriptor if you wish.
    
• 7 gesture animations attached to the left hand's current pose.

• GoGo Loco by Franada installed with package.
  • An amazing package for users without full-body, allowing you to sit, lay down, and do plenty of other lower-body posing without any trackers required!
    
• VRCFT support for Jerry's face-tracking template (Unified Expressions).
  
• Ground collider for the tails and toe collision can be toggled on and off.
  
• Outfit with individually toggleable parts:
  • Jacket
  • Shorts
  • Fishnets
  • Boots
  • Choker
  • Undergarments
  • Notes:
    • Fishnets do not go over bionic parts and are instead hidden.
    • Garter belts on the shorts are turned off when you have a bionic leg turned on
    • Boots are turned off when you have a bionic leg turned on.

• Lots of body toggles
  • Thick and Thin sliders you can use to tweak the avatar to your taste
  • Flat chest toggle
  • Front saber teeth
  • Longer hand/feet claws
  • Top and Bottom Ears on separate toggles (can have both on, one on, or neither!)
  • Eye color slider
  • Arm wings
  • Two different tails, one that is very fluffy and more cute and another that is a longer, lion-like tail that has feathers that you can choose to stick out. (VRCFT and expression integration coming soon.)

How to set up:

• If you haven't already, follow this guide to set up your SDK.
• Create a new unity project.
  • Preferably with the newer SDK Unity version of 2022 (2019 is not tested and probably broken, please just update!)
• Import the VRChat SDK (Use the VCC tool for most optimal results)
• Import VRCFury (Use the VCC tool)
• (Optional) If you plan to use VRCFT for face-tracking, add Jerry's template to your project. (Use the VCC tool)
• (Optional) If you plan to use the "extra" version, install SPS (Use the VCC tool)
• Import the free version of Poiyomi included in the download.
• Import the files from the provided unity asset file, open the "HighCD" folder, the avatar's folder, then open the scene file named "OPEN ME"
• Upload ready.
• (Optional) Eyeblink is turned off by default, but there is sufficient blendshapes there so insert them if you wish.

Statistics:

• Note: Many of this can be bumped down yourself by sheering off things you don't want to use, this is the avatar with everything on it. If you don't plan to use the bionics, for example, sheering them off will take off a lot of triangles, materials, and skinned meshes, same with the clothing!

Golden Age Era ( 2300 - 2436 )

The Lei'hra (pronounced Lay-Rah) were a space dwelling species of body-modders that arised during the universe's golden age. Many of them were renown for being some of the best mechanists in the sector, them having a knack for modifying themselves as they grew older in age, leading to some living for easily over a hundred years.

For a Lei'hra, the more body modifications you had, the higher your status was on their imperial social hierarchy. To them, augmentations were a sign of someone who is powerful. Some Lei'hra who were of noble birth are completely augmentless, never needing to see the hard labor that would require these body modifications. These "pure" Lei'hra are often seen as authority figures of high lineage.

The First Shattering Era ( 2436 - 2745 )

The Lei'hra as a society were a part of The First Shattering in the year of 2436, a large scale intergalactic conflict that lead to the destruction of many species. However, the Lei'hra survived this first conflict but splintered into many more kingdoms. Due to infighting, the Lei'hra were never able to reform fully as a society.

The Second Shattering Era ( 2745 - 2793 )

During The Second Shattering in the year 2745, the Lei'hra were not equipped well enough to defend themselves fully. In an act of preservation, a great machine intelligence offered one of the Lei'hra's kingdoms a chance to be a part of their galactic preservation act. This kingdom abided by their new leader, the Techarus, and evacuated one planet. These Lei'hra were placed upon a great ringworld that wrapped around a sun, cryogenically frozen and preserved over many years. The last Lei'hra was cryogenically frozen in the year 2793

The New Millennia Era ( 3000+ ):

In the year 3000, at the start of the new millennia, the Lei'hra as well as many other species had a large collection of their frozen species cloned and introduced into a quarter section of the ringworld in a large collective society as an experiment by the Techarus to study the society of organics.

As one of the surviving species from the original galactic golden age, the Lei'hra play a key role in building the melting pot that is society on the ring-world in the present. The new generations they had are known as some of the most renowned in the ring, uniting many other species on the ring into one society.

While the Lei'hra are a shell of their former empire, many of them are happy that they are still allowed to even exist, and they use their history as a lesson that cooperation is the key to building a surviving people.
