I had some of the same thoughts you had about Gideon when I first watched this show as well. I think I actually spent like 90% of the episode thinking he WAS an adult, so I was extra weirded out by him lmao. I'm glad you're enjoying the show!! I don't know how they did it, but this show somehow manages to inspire a sense of intrigue, childhood wonder, nostalgia, and pining for a place I've never been to. It's honestly incredible. Now, on a somewhat more unrelated note... I don't mean to freak you out or anything, but the thing you said about needing to check if a door is locked several times before your brain will let go of it *might* be (a perhaps mild form of) OCD. And I don't mean it in the way that people usually do when they talk about OCD, like when they like things to be kept neat and tidy and they say "oh yeah, I'm a little OCD hehe". Real OCD is pretty much exactly what you described, with differing levels of severity. The small examples you gave made it seem like it's just something of a minor inconvenience, but if you have this in other areas of your life where it actually considerably negatively impacts you or your quality of life, I'd say it might be worth it to get it checked out, if you're able. I hope this doesn't come across as parasocial or me trying to diagnose you based solely on a small tangent, since that's not my intention at all! Just wanted to mention it in case it happens to be relevant or useful to you. (Side note: I LOVE whenever we get to see the kitties in your videos, they're so GOSH DARN CUTE ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ)
