Merch/new tier ideas?

So for the past few days I've been nonstop thinking about introducing a new tier that would include exclusive merch benefits, since merch is something I've been wanting to do for years (but I'd rather start small and make it tied to one tier for now) . However, I've got 2 prototypes and can't decide which one to go with:
1. $12 tier - one-time merch rewards:
be pledged continously for 4 months - OC sticker sheet
8 months - OC double-sided keychain
12 months - exclusive OC mini-print
2. $15 tier - one-time merch rewards:
be pledged continously for 3 months - OC sticker sheet
6 months - OC double-sided keychain
9 months - exclusive OC mini-print
12 months - a personalized thank-you sketch on A6 paper
global shipping would be included. another tier benefit would possibly be extra voting power (additional 2 votes per poll). those who pledge annually would receive all rewards within the same month.
if you of course have any other suggestions, please let me know! I know Patreon has a merch option, but I don't wanna pay additional fees + the merch is limited + I'd rather ship it myself :)

first of all thank you so much ;; you're right, I've been putting a lot effort into Patreon, and the tier will definitely be limited to a small number of people (that way I don't stress too much about the shipping, sketch etc.). I've thought about most of the things you mentioned, but I'm still considering all possible options to make this easier, so it won't be out publicly at least for a while. thank you again for caring ❤️

2024-02-22 17:21:29 +0000 UTCIt's a cool idea, but I'd advise to put a limit on people who can pledge at the tier, especially if the rewards are OC based. People don't always have good references ready to go, so you might be having to almost design a character so you can do the art for it, on top of the actual art. Plus coming up with ideas for the poses, getting the merch ready to ship, and shipping. I'm totally on board with this idea, I think having some variety in your work could help. Stickers and keychains are different from your usual fully rendered art pieces. But please don't burn yourself out. I know you're an awesome person, and I know you're super grateful to all the people who support you financially. But I think if you took on too much and had to cancel the tier, you'd feel even worse than if you put a limit on your workload to begin with.
