End-of-Month Update (Poll Results and Sketch Raffle)

Happy Halloween, everyone! Glad I could get this month's pin-up finished just in time for it too, and spend the holiday taking it easy. I hope you all have been well and can enjoy the day as well!

I've got a couple of announcements to make as we go into the next month. First, I wanted to announce that Kayla was indeed the winner of the poll for next month's pin-up, beating out two far greater bellies than his in the process (though I'm happy to see both Rochelle and Fouine get some love in the poll, too)! That means Kayla will feature in a very food-centric picture next month, which I'll be working on alongside the next Kayla Komix strip, continuing Kayla's "Pennies from Hell" arc.

Secondly, though I typically refrain from getting into politics, I want to take a moment to encourage my U.S. patrons to vote in the Midterm Election next week, on November 6th. Long-time followers of my work should know where I stand on the political spectrum, yet I feel it's neither here nor there with so many terrible things happening in the country these past two years - with much of it affecting my friends far more personally than I. I'd like everyone who's able to vote - so much so that I'm hosting a sketch raffle that anyone who provides proof of their voting can enter! Everything you need to know can be found here, and I hope everyone can take advantage of this opportunity. But more importantly, please make your voice heard and take a stand against this mess next Tuesday.

And finally, as always I want to extend a big "thank you" for another month of your support. It means so much to me this month especially, in light of the loss I experienced earlier this month, and I'm again grateful the patience and support you gave me during that time. November's looking to be another busy month the closer we get to the holidays, but I look forward to bringing you more of Kayla and his friends in the weeks to come!
