...and I don't think it's just to even out everything from the other list. Maybe a little? Mostly I think love is an ultra-top-tier important Bible concept and it's worth looking around the New Testament to get a sense of exactly what the Bible means when it uses that word.
The new video on Leviticus just came out over on the YouTube channel. It's all new, made from scratch and has live video since I got a lot of feedback saying everyone preferred that.
More Galatians tomorrow here on the podcast, but I figured I'd let you know this video existed and is now available.

All this stuff Paul's saying is counterintuitive because we're used to doing things when we want to get things, but Paul's saying that it's God who makes it possible to have right standing with Him and God who makes it possible to obey Him and live a life that honors Him. Romans has a lot of the same stuff as Galatians, but Paul says it slower and with less urgency to try to stop the circumcision line. Why is that? How do these two letters relate? We'll cover that, and then we'll work through a chunk of Romans that's pertinent to what we've been working on.

Did Paul go and grab the stuff about Sarai and Hagar because he felt like it, or did he bring it up because the agitators had already pointed to that story? I still don't know, but I think we can get to the point either way.

This emotional interlude is such a change of pace and so interesting. We'll take a couple more days on that, and then on Thursday and Friday, we're going to get into one of the most difficult passage to sort through in all of Paul's letters.

Well, not for you. It's like Interstellar, where your time and my time pass at different rates. I've been shut off from the world and feverishly working on a book manuscript for weeks, but this week we're back to synchronous.
I've missed you.
We've got some stuff to catch up on and we've got a bit of a Bible riddle starting in Galatians 4:12.
I LOVED reading all your ideas and suggestions for where to go with the next season, but also no clear and obvious pattern emerged. We'll keep that conversation going over the next few weeks. I have my ideas, but I'm still thinking it through.
I'm missing narrative stuff, but I'd also love to get more value out of the work we've put in with Paul. Hmmmmmm. Lots to think about.
