It's OUT!

seffay everyone. sorry for the AFTERNOON post - I had a full morning doing some errands and taking the fam out for breakfast... The air and temperature is finally relatively normal and it was all very nice. I woke up in a good mood, as the reactions to Fear Of Death have been really positive, from fans and friends alike... Last night Drew and Natalie came over as well as Jonathan Rado and we had a proper little celebration with food. Natalie brought a cake, which acted as a nice bookend to the experience - the after party for her show at the masonic temple was a record release show - it's where Drew approached me to record with Natalie, and there in the middle of it was her own big "Titanic Rising" cake.   Boy it was a nice change to sit out in our back patio and talk to some other people in person.

As I mentioned on the show we have a 3 part podcast coming next weekend which goes into much more detail on the record, so i'll just leave it at that and I know you all know all about it anyways... Thanks for your kinds words already!  Please share with all your friends and family! And hey maybe you're an Office Hours head who doesn't really care for or about my music. I love you too.

oh one more thing - I'm making a musical clues/fingerprints Spotify (yuck) playlist - Songs that have little musical or lyrical connections - They're pretty specific but I wonder if you hear things I've forgotten or have gleamed subconsciously? take a listen: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4hKURdTGVQwTsCohsRIkUx?si=jCA7sMjkTYmjsBT4Nn6gcg

I hope some of you check out feelsgoodman.watch tonight! It's really great and also such an interesting look into the troll world. I found it very enlightening, sad AND hopeful.. yep: all 3.

I have a funny Bruce Springsteen/Brian Eno idea, born out of After Hours that I'm gonna start working on. I love when an idea is born on the show... it's literally how Fear Of Death began!

That's all for now! P&L T

I remember the ep where u started jamming what would become the song “fear of death” with weyes and she was picking up harmonies in the moment with you. To hear it come full circle on the album was a truly “of the time” moment for me. Never before could a fan hear something being worked on like that and then get to experience the final product after the fact. When they say “if I was a fly on the wall for THAT so and so”.... well we kind of got to be flies on the wall for at least one session, and it was the very beginning! I think it’s a total testament to what you have built and your utilization of creating through the different forms of media that are suddenly available, and I’m not sure if anyone is truly grasping it as well as you right now Timjim. Godspeed man and don’t stop

Tim, I've enjoyed listening and singing along to your songs. Thank you!
