Depends. Even if I had padded feet, I wouldn't want to walk in a store barefoot. That said, I do find the socks with no shoes interesting as well. My fursona couldn't wear shoes. zir/her "feet" have thumbs, at best she could do gloves, but that's part of having all four "feet" have thumbs.
