The Road I'm On

Seffay my friends.

This will be quick, because I must get back to my current obsession: The Garth Brooks 2 part documentary on Netflix. Wow! Let me tell you, I love country music. I do not love the music of Garth Brooks.  But this thing is fascinating! He's kind of a like a chubby Matthew McConaughey - Every line he tells of his life story is told with maximum intensity and extreme self importance, choking back tears around every moment. It's HILARIOUS! of Course Vic has picked up on the weirdness of Garth as evidenced here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQm3N2LvH3A&feature=youtu.be

Also, I'm a sucker for really any music documentary and since I really don't know much about him it's reeling me in on that level.  Another doc I watched with jaw agape yesterday was LA 92 - a National Geographic documentary on the Rodney King riots: incredibly moving and timely of course. It's also on Netflix...

Very happy with our show on Thursday! Man, that was fun and enlightening - Loved talking to Z. He's a good egg and I look forward to talking to him more and watching him and his movement grow! And if you aren't listening to Thundercat, take this moment to get on it! It's really beautiful music!

Hope to get back on the Beatles Solo Years project this week - It's been very hard to get stuff done these past few weeks - Talking about rock records from the 70s just seemed disrespectful, ya know? I certainly wasn't in the mood. But we'll get back on the horse and keep making stuff - But I really hope this movement doesn't fade away -  I have to do my part and keep talking about it and thinking about it... We finally auctioned off the Cinco Fone and ended up changing the charity to The Equal Justice Initiative   If anyone has ideas for groups or charities that we can all be boosting please let me know in the comments - There's been some confusion and debate about the best way to advocate and donate -  it can get frustrating and I don't want that to create apathy.

anyway, here's a peek at our Bauer chat from the other day.

Love you all! T

Thank you for the Garth Brooks doc recommendation. He's intense sincerity is too much - I can't handle the looks down the camera!

Following up here to say I have begun the Garth Brooks doc and it's wild. Great recommendation.
