The WOHL Comedown

Hey gang it's Tim! 

Wow. I'm still coming down from the big show on Thursday. I can't remember how the idea originally took shape, but a few weeks ago after the show, we started talking about doing a whole show in the style of Morning Zoo Radio... it was low hanging fruit for us, since the show already has a lot of those hallmarks kinda built it. But we thought it'd be funny to go all in for one episode. Even though we did more prep than we'd usually do for a show,  we were all kinda surprised it went over so well!    I hope everyone understands there were a few jokes that were very much in the style of that terrible misogynistic tone, "describe your boobies" etc that really isn't funny to us in real life but fit in with the kind of parody we were doing... you get it. you're not dumb. I just noticed a few dummies complaining about it in the comments.  ALSO some people were wondering if I committed a crime during the Prank Phone calls section! haha! did anyone pick up that the woman from the bank sounded EXACTLY like the woman from Starbucks?  Again, i don't need to explain jokes to you, dear reader!  You are smart enough to be a paying member of the Office Hours Patreon! 

Anyway, we gotta do it again one day. If we did it on a regular basis it'd get old and annoying. You'd hate it. trust me.... and i'm sure some elements will just forever seep into the regular show. I can't imagine Doug will be able to resist hitting that announcer drop from time to time. 

I'm also very excited for this weekend of CRINGE! Doug's videos were hilarious. He's always "had it."  

I've heard some of Vic's high school music and it's quite ambitious and some of it's very cool! 

I can't bear to listen to much of my own.. What I did listen to made me wonder if I've gotten any better or any worse. It sounds like shit, but there are some decent tunes in there. 

Here I am turning into Wes Anderson but I enjoyed Meek's Cutoff on Criterion App last night. Also I really tripped out on Devs (Hulu). Alex Garland. Wow,  I wanna make a show like that with Eric some day! 

Eric N. sent this to me last night. I was thinking of doing an emergency broadcast tonight just to reflect and react! 

We'll see. If it was on later it might work. But 5PM pacific is dinnertime over here.
