absolutely. this album will always be my favorite album ever. it’s a mix of every genre and style that’s made them famous and just an example of them throwing anything at the wall and somehow all of it sticks. it’s just a conglomerate of all genres and styles and it’s so fun to go from a slow personal song to an all out rocker to a silly song, it’s got it all and it’s a mixture of fun and seriousness.

Eat Your Landlord

The sign of someone who comments on whether a Beatles song should be skipped or not while listening to an album. Never mind then online listening streaming capabilities or any scarifice perceived time constraints. Which. If you’re into music why are you so concerned about “skipping tracks” when listening to the album. It doesn’t appear to be the wisest musical or band understanding and knowledge if you’re the type of person to put an album on and skip tracks. I mean I know what he’s saying but, it’s hugely indicative of his nascent verifiably self-dulled musical appreciation and aptitude. Tim is the only one with a head and a heart assessing these. I’d love to have a multi-hour f2f conversation with Eric nerconsicolapepsicola and share with him the mirror in which he seems to see everything skewed in the only lens of his Beatles/Musical comprehension. Which is fine, I wish him and everyone nothing but peace and love and respect and well wishes and blessings. But what’s he doin here. Every episode it drives home that he just has guitar center knowledge but not necessarily at least articulating his musical pantheon history and perspective and of course there’s a clear understanding of respectful differing opinions. And I empathize with his short comings as I know I have my own. But every episode there is nothing but deficits informed opinion that frequently forgoes context and interpretation and the many nuances of the thing for sake of some throw away critique cliche that gets used throughout the program. Again. I love it and love you all. I don’t think everything the beatles did was perfect and shouldn’t be critiqued or anything it’s just if you’re going to do it, I guess, just be somewhat adjacent to more then just a seemingly perpetually gear-know-how-centric view of the Beatles world but again I have my own biases as I’ve grown in disagreement with most of Eric’s critiques. Een tho those are Interesting and the gear know how and history is stuff I admit I don’t know the totality of so I’m no one to point fingers. I’m just having fun catching up. Much love Tim and (other Eric -apologies for making fun of your last name-) much love and blessings to you all! Thanks for being patient with my perhaps dick’ish’able words of critique of the critique lol. Safety health wellness and peace and love to you all! :D <3

Does no one mention that this is one of the first examples of post modern (self referential) rock music? The Beatles/white album isn’t just a bunch of songs it’s a patchwork of the time space of that time and space. It’s the bloody Beatles white album one of the greatest pieces of music, a double LP, ever made. It’s the bands creative haywire record. It’s brilliant.
